Palm oil is the oil derived from the nuts of palm trees, it is distinguished by it’s red colour. It is mostly used for cooking all over the world.
Palm oil is gotten from extracting the oil out of the palm fruit. The extraction process needs a lot of processing before it can get to its finished product i.e Palm oil.
Palm oil is mostly cultivated in Africa and Southeast Asia. It is the most edible oil in Africa. Palm oil is gotten from two major varieties which are: Elaeis guineensis (The African Oil Palm) and Elaeis Oleifera (The American Oil Palm)
